Purpose

In previous releases, the forecast calculation determined an effect for each individual DIF. As of SAPSCM 5.1, it is possible to define a schema for a group of existing DIFs. For each schema, the system calculates a DIF effect to be considered by the forecast calculation.

The current XPRA must ensure compatibility, which means that Boolean DIFs with an assignments at the product level are grouped into one unique schema named UPG.

This XPRA must be executed in order to create a new entry in /FRE/DIF_SCHEMA and update the Schemafield in the /FRE/DIF_DEFINE table.

A Customizing entry must be created in the DIF schema table for each client. Then in DIF Customizing,every Boolean DIF with an assignment level 'Product' must have its Schemafield updated with the value UPGas the schema to which it is assigned.
