Purpose

In SAP Forecasting & Replenishment (F&R) 5.1, a new function for improving the safety amount calculationhas been implemented. This new function requires a forecast calculation that is independent of the regular forecast frequency rhythm. In addition, the internal treatment of forecast data has been changed accordingly.

Due to enhancements of the forecast calculation (DIF on a daily basis) for all location products ofa location considered by FRP, a special forecast calculation must be executed after the upgrade to F&R 5.1. The regular forecast rhythm must be invalidated.
