/FRE/UPGRADE_60_PROFRP - XPRA Name: Transfer FRP control profile
ABAP Short Reference Fill RESBD Structure from EBP Component StructureThis documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
Purpose
In SAP Forecast & Replenishment (F&R) 5.0, the frequency of the parameter optimization was controlled using the FRP control profile at the location level. The parameter optimization could be run on a weekly basis.
In SAP F&R 5.1, there is a flexible control for the parameter optimization frequency using a new parameteroptimization frequency profile and the ability to assign the parameter optimization frequency profile to the FRP control profile. This step allows greater control of the parameter optimization frequency.
New frequency profiles that correspond to relevant release SAP F&R 5.0 settings must be generated andassigned to FRP control profiles based on existing settings. New planning day parameters must be set based on existing settings.
SAP F&R 5.0: Scheduling of the parameter optimization frequencytakes place on the location level in the FRP process control profile. The definition takes place on a weekly basis. You must define the day of the week and the frequency in the FRP process control profile.
SAP F&R 5.1:Scheduling can take place on the location productlevel. A new parameter optimization profile is created, derived from the existing settings in the FRP process control profile. Fields in the FRP process control profile that are no longer used are initialized.
