Drilldown Reporting with References

Purpose

This report is based on the reference numbers for postings in the RBD component.

Various types of records are generated within the RBD component.

Individual documents: Open items from a source system

Planned records: Summary of individual documents that are planned for posting but have not been posted yet.

Planned records: Manually entered planned records

Actual records / posting records: If a planned record has been posted the system generates a corresponding actual record or a posting record.

The following references are generated in the posting system (FI for example):

Document number in the posting system

RBD reference number

Integration

Prerequisites

A reference number is needed from the linked accounting system or from the RBD component.

Features

Selection

You can drilldown for a reference from the posting system (such as FI document number) or for a reference from the RBD (document number for the planned or actual record).

Standard Variants

There are no standard variants planned.

Output

The system outputs the following information for each reference number you enter:

Information about the relevant RBD account

Information about the relevant RBD posting (actual) record

Information about the accounts in the posting system

Information about the relevant planned record

All individual documents for the posting. (If these exist.)

Note: If you choose a reference for a reversal posting, only the reversed record is displayed. If youchoose a reference for a reversed posting record, the system displays the reversal record, the original planned record and the original individual document.

Sequence number of the actual record within the RBD component

Sequence number of the planned record within the RBD component

Processing:

If you enter a document number from the posting system, the system searches using this reference. Ifyou do not enter a document number, the system searches using the actual record reference, if this field is empty the system searches using the sequence number for the planned record.

The system searches for the actual or planned record for the reference, then the account informationand the individual documents, if available. The system also determines the account information for the accounts posted to from the posting system.

If the record is a reversal record or has been reversed the system also displays the relevant reversalrecord or reversed record. In addition the system displays the original planned record and the original individual document for a reversed record.

Output:

The system displays the collected information in the form of a table, which you can also print out.
