Purpose

You use this report to generate the top node of the standard hierarchy for cost centers or profit centers. This may be required in the following cases:

• In the central system, in Customizing for controlling you have already defined a top node, which you want to change.

• When a decentralized system was set up, the top node of the standard hierarchy for cost centersor profit centers of the central system was transferred when the customizing settings were copied andhas to be replaced with the top node of the decentralized system. You can make this adjustment using SAP Solution Manager when setting up the system.
