/ISDFPS/PM_ALT_DATEN_IMPORT - PM: Alternative Data Transport - Inbound Processing
Fill RESBD Structure from EBP Component Structure PERFORM Short ReferenceThis documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
Purpose
You can use this program to import distributed maintenance objects, which were previously saved on a rewritable data carrier (= alternative data transport), into the current SAP system.
After the data has been imported, the maintenance objects have change authorization in the current system, i.e. they can no longer be edited/changed in different SAP systems.
Use transaction /ISDFPS/PMDIS3 to create the data carrier on the target system.
Prerequisites
You can only import maintenance objects for which no change authorizations exist in the current system.
It is assumed that the target system uses the same Customizing settings as the source system. No further checks are carried out in this respect.
Features
Specify the required info file (.XML) for the alternative data transport or the ZIP file. Include the full directory name.
If you choose "Execute", the system imports the file on the data carrier - this process may take sometime. The system returns a log with the current processing status. After the file has been imported, you can call up a detailed log for the most important processing step. To do so, choose the status icon of the corresponding log line.
