General Data in Customer Master   rdisp/max_wprun_time - Maximum work process run time

Description

You can use this report to change business partner data. The system processes and reads a sequential dataset using the structure information tables TNT2 and TNT2S.

This report is only relevant and available for the country version for France.

Requirements

Before you can perform the business partner update, you must store the corresponding file either locally or on the application server.

A structure definition (tables TNT2 and TNT2S) must exist for the sequential dataset. Definition RPPS, which is delivered with the standard system, is the default definition.

When you execute the report, you must specify the full name of the sequential dataset. If the sequentialdataset contains different record types, you must specify the offset and the length of the record type ID in each record in the sequential file.

If you only want to process part of the sequential file, you can specify the lower and upper limits of the records you want to process.

If you need to convert field formats, you can do so as follows:

Define a corresponding form routine in a copy of reportRNILSI20; pay attentionto the customer name range. You can make all changes to the format using the field symbol <F2>.You should perform the conversion so as to achieve a valid input format for the field in question. Youenter the name of the form routine and your customer report in fields TNT2-FORM (form routine) and TNT2-PROGR (program) in table TNT2.
If the sample routines RNILSI20 meet your requirements, you can skip the above step.

Selection

File

  • File Name
Enter the path to the directory where the file to be imported is located, together with the file name.
  • File Origin
Specify the computer where the directory and file are located.
  • Import from Application Server

  • Import from Local Disk Drive

Structure and Record Definitions

  • Identifier of Structure Definition
The system proposes the structure definition RPPS, which is supplied with the report.
  • Offset Record Type ID
If the sequential dataset contains different record types, you must specify the offset for the record type ID.
  • Length of Record Type ID
If the sequential dataset contains different record types, you must specify the length of the record type ID.
  • Offset Sub-Record Type ID
  • Length of Sub-Record Type ID
  • Processing from Record / to Record
If you only want to process part of the sequential file, you can specify the lower and upper limits of the records you want to process.

Settings

If you select this option, the system only simulates the checks and the update for the records imported. It does not make any changes on the database.

Output

The system displays the following information for each record in the input file:

  • Header:
  • External partner number - business partner ID in IS-H

  • Person number - business partner key in IS-H

  • Status - traffic light symbol (red/green) to indicate whether update OK

  • Long text - more detailed description of errors that occurred

  • Item line:
  • Field name - which field in IS-H is to be changed

  • Old field content

  • New field content

Example

  • For examples of form routines, see report RNILSI20.
  • For examples of the structure description, see tables TNT2 and TNT2S.
