Title

Purpose

This report is used to import the CMD diagnosis categories into the IS-H: Diagnosis Catalogs table (NKDI).

Integration

Prerequisites

The file for import must be stored on the application server and must comply with the standard structure in ASCII format. The structure of each line is as follows:

• 3 characters for the record type

• 2 characters for the title

• 2 characters for the sequence

• The structure for the rest of the line depends on the record type. Only record type 001 is relevant.

• 2 characters for the GHS number

• n characters for the short text

Make sure the content of the file to be imported is correct. The import report does not run any content-related checks.

Features

Selection

The system determines the name of the CMD catalog from the IS-H: Catalog for MajorDiagnostic Category (MDC) field (MDC_CAT) in the IS-H: Set Parameters for DRG Documentation table (TNGRP0).

Import Parameters

• Institution

• File Name

Enter the path to the file you want to import, including the file name.

Process Flow Control

• Refresh Diagnosis Text

If you select this option, the system refreshes the diagnosis text for diagnoses that already exist in the system.

• Log

If you select this option, the system creates a log of the diagnoses imported.

• Test Mode

If you select this option, the system does not execute any actions on the database.

Standard Variants

Output

If you select Log, the system displays the diagnoses that are to be imported. If you do not select this option, the system does not provide any information about the diagnoses.
