Purpose

You use this report to carry out financial planning for a portfolio item.

Integration

For financial planning, the financial data is obtained from the SAP FI/CO system of the underlyingbase project system (SAP PS), based on the integration link defined between the portfolio item and the different PSP elements (WBS, Network, Network Activity etc.) of SAP PS.

Prerequisites

  1. You have carried out a financial upload by executing report RPM_FIN02 in SAP PS for the SAP xRPM 4.0 portfolio item.
  2. You have configured the financial planning settings in Customizing by choosing SAPxApp Resource and Portfolio Management (SAP xRPM) -> Base System Interfaces -> Financial Planning Settings -> Define Financial Planning Settings.
  3. To create categories and groups for the portfolio item, you have executed the report /RPM/PLAN_INT_PREP.

Features

The financial planning data is always filled for a group.

The financial planning data only corresponds to those financial views for which the view type for anitem level is set to Integration. You do this by choosing SAP xApp Resource and Portfolio Management (SAP xRPM) -> Global Customizing -> Portfolio-Independent Settings -> Define Financial and Capacity Views.

Selection

  • On the selection screen of the report, you must specify the portfolio ID, the bucket ID and the item ID for which the report needs to be executed. Financial planning is then carried out for a portfolio item.
  • If you select no item ID, then financial planning is carried out for all items that fall under the bucket mentioned and the portfolio mentioned.
  • If you select no bucket ID and no item ID, then financial planning is carried out for all items that belong to all the buckets that fall under the portfolio mentioned.
  • If you select no portfolio ID, no bucket ID and no item ID, then financial planning is carried out for all items that belong to all the buckets for all the portfolios in the system.
  • You always execute the report in test mode first, by setting the indicator. If no errors occur, execute the report in production mode.

Standard Variants

Output

If no problems occur, a log report with information messages is generated.

If a problem occurs during financial planning, the log issues error messages.

You can ignore the warning message.
