Purpose

Upgrade Report (XPRA) for Setting the Attribute for VC Configuration Relevance in the Product Master (Field /sapapo/matkey-flagclass)

Integration

Prerequisites

The upgrade report runs automatically when the system is upgraded from APO 4.0 (or lower) to APO 4.1 (or higher).

You can see log for the program run in the system log for the upgrade.

If errors occur (program termination), the XPRA report must be executed again before the system goes live. However, the upgrade can initially be continued without this conversion.

If an error occurs, create an OSS message under component SCM-APO-CA-VC.

Activities

Before APO 4.1 the attribute 'flagclass' in the product master (table /sapapo/matkey) was set for CDP-relevant products ('X' or blank)

In APO 4.1 the field contains a new option, 'V', which means that the product is relevant for variant configuration (VC).

CDP and VC relevance for a product are mutually exclusive.

This field is filled as follows for clients which are set to VC (indicator /sapapo/tclsys-master_switch = 'I'):

• Reset the indicator for products for which it is set to CDP relevance (as this is inconsistent in a client which is set to VC).

• Set the indicator for VC relevance for configurable products (/sapapo/matkey-kzkfg = 'X').

• Set the indicator for VC relevance for non-configurable product variants which reference a configurable product in another location.

• Set the indicator for VC relevance for non-configurable product variants which do not reference a configurable product in another location but do reference a configurable product in a specific location.

For clients that are set to CDP (indicator /sapapo/tclsys-master_switch = 'C'), no action is necessary.
