Purpose

You use this report to create the client-dependent status for the UTC conversion of the existing plans / PPMs.

You have the following options:

• All plans / PPMs of the client in which you are currently working are converted into the UTC format- you can use this option if you are sure that no UTC conversion has yet been executed for any PPMs.This is the standard selection if you work with an R/3 system and the PPMs were generated via the CIFinterface. This selection is also relevant if the PPMs were created manually or if they were created by BAPI AND the data was converted into the UTC time in the process.

• No plans / PPMs of the client in which you are currently working are converted into the UTC format.You only use this option, if you are sure that all PPMs of the current client have already been convertedinto UTC format. This is the case, for example, if either note 497707 or 569368 was implemented in your OLTP system.

• Some of the plans / PPMs have been converted into the UTC format. This case is only relevant ifthe PPMs in one or several clients were created using BAPIs. In this case, you have to check whetherthe BAPI was provided with converted data when creating the PPMs. You can choose exactly which plans/ PPMs (for example, all PPMs created via BAPI) are NOT to be converted into the UTC format. By creatingthe plans in a transparent table /SAPAPO/UTC_PLAN, they are excluded from the conversion. Please notehtat this case is only relevant if the PPMs were created via BAPIs AND already-converted data was used.

You have to start this report individually for every client.

Integration

As soon as all clients have executed the report for the client-dependent creation of the modification status, the subsequent report (/SAPAPO/PPM_UTC_PREPARE_DATA01) can be started to save converted validity data.

Prerequisites

Check whether plans / PPMs are available in your system for which a UTC conversion has already been executed. You have to exclude these plans / PPMs from further UTC conversions.

Standard Variants

If you only want to exclude a portion of the plans / PPMs from the UTC conversion, you can create a variant for your plan / PPM selection.

Output

If you select the last option, the system displays a list of plans to be excluded by the conversion.You can change your selection. Only the last selection after executing the report is recorded in the transparent table /SAPAPO/PLAN_UTC.
