Purpose

You can use this report to initialize the data buffered by Transportation and Shipment Scheduling.

Integration

For performance reasons, Transportation and Shipment Schedulinguses cross-transaction buffering for defined master data such as locations, transportation lanes, timestreams, and location products. If you have made changes to this master data, which are not taken intoaccount by scheduling, this could be because scheduling reaches for the old, buffered data. In thiscase, you can either wait 30 minutes (the maximum time locations, transportation lanes, and location products are buffered) or use this report to initialize the buffer for all or only for selected data.

You can also use this report to display which data has been buffered, without initializing the buffer.

For performance reasons, we recommend that you only select the data that you actually want to initialize.

The report does not delete any master data; rather it only initializes the buffered data so that the relevant master data can be read anew from the database the next time scheduling is called.

Selection

You make the following settings on the initial screen of the report:

• In the screen area Buffer for Locations, you can choose if you wantthe buffer to be initialized for the locations and whether the buffered data should be displayed. You can also select the data to be initialized.

• In the screen area Buffer for Transportation Lanes, you can chooseif you want the buffer to be initialized for the transportation lanes and whether the buffered data should be displayed. You can also select the data to be initialized.

• In the screen area Buffer for Time Streams, you can choose if you wantthe buffer to be initialized for the time streams and if the buffered data should be displayed. You can also select the data to be initialized.

• In the screen area Buffer for Location Products, you can choose ifyou want the buffer to be initialized for the location products and if the buffered data should be displayed. You can also select the data to be initialized.
