/SAPCN1/CUST_INDX_TO_CN1 - XPRA: Copy the Customizing tables from INDX to /SAPCN1/

General Material Data   ABAP Short Reference
This documentation is copyright by SAP AG.

Purpose

This report is automatically executed as an Executable Program After Upgrade (XPRA) directly after the upgrade.

Before this, the following Customizing data from the tables /SAPCND/T68* and /SAPCND/TCM1* has to be moved to the database table INDX using the report /SAPAPO/CUST_CND_TO_INDX:

/SAPCND/T681*/SAPCND/T682*/SAPCND/T683*/SAPCND/T685*/SAPCND/TMC1*
/SAPCND/T681/SAPCND/T682/SAPCND/T683/SAPCND/T685/SAPCND/TMC1
/SAPCND/T681A/SAPCND/T682I/SAPCND/T683S/SAPCND/T685T/SAPCND/TCM1D
/SAPCND/T681B/SAPCND/T682T/SAPCND/T683T /SAPCND/TMC1K
/SAPCND/T681E/SAPCND/T682V/SAPCND/T683U /SAPCND/TMC1T
/SAPCND/T681F/SAPCND/T682Z
/SAPCND/T681H
/SAPCND/T681S
/SAPCND/T681T
/SAPCND/T681U
/SAPCND/T681V
/SAPCND/T681W
/SAPCND/T681Y
/SAPCND/T681Z

This report is also executed automatically before the upgrade.

The report /SAPCN1/CUST_INDX_TO_CN1 restores this data in the corresponding tables /SAPCN1/T68*.

Integration

Prerequisites

The report /SAPAPO/CUST_CND_TO_INDX must have been executed automatically before the DDIC upgrade in the tool phase.

Features

  • Data in the fields of the type C, N, P, X, I are saved in the INDX table and are restored in the new Customizing tables using the report /SAPCN1/CUST_INDX_TO_CN1.
  • Data with the following data types is not saved in the INDX table and is therefore lost during the DDIC upgrade:
FFloating point number (float) with 8 byte precision
TTime field (hhmmss), stored as char(6)
gString with variable length (ABAP type STRING)
yByte sequence with variable length (ABAP type XSTRING)
uStructured type, flat
vStructured type, deep
hTable type
VString (old dictionary type VARC)
rReference to class/interface
lReference to data object

Output

Activities

  • If the tables /SAPCND/T68* and /SAPCND/TCM1* have not been extended, postprocessing is not required.
  • If tables /SAPCND/T68* and /SAPCND/TCM1* have been extended with append structures, which are notcharacter-type, you can restore append structures of the type C, N, P, X, I after an upgrade. You should proceed as follows:
  1. Extend the new Customizing tables /SAPCN1/T68* and /SAPCND/TCM1* with the required append structures (transaction se11). Retain the field sequence when you do this.
  2. Restart the report /SAPCN1/CUST_INDX_TO_CN1 manually; as a result, the Customizing tables /SAPCN1/T68* and /SAPCND/TCM1* are filled again.
Note
If you restore the data in this way, changes made in Customizing after the upgrade are lost. You should therefore restore the data before you process Customizing.
