Purpose

This XPRA report is used to move the document types and item types from the old database tables to the new database tables.

Integration

This XPRA report runs automatically during an upgrade.

Prerequisites

This XPRA report is only run if:

• The source release of the upgrade is SAP EWM 2007 or lower.

• The target release of the upgrade is EWM 7.0 or higher.

The report was programmed to be carried out during an upgrade but in case of data inconsistencies you can restart the report after having corrected them.

This XPRA report reads the document types and item types in each client in a system. It then copies the entries to the new tables. The following schema shows the data flow:

After the data has been successfully converted, the report deletes the source data.

Note

You can test this XPRA report online in SAP internal systems if you set the user parameter /SCWM/XPRA_PROC_MODE:

• ' ': The report runs as in the upgrade.

• 'TC': The report runs in test mode and performs all database operations (including physical deletionof source data). The report also issues a log. Use this variant of the user parameter very carefully, since you can only start the report once using this option.

• 'TR': The report runs in test mode, but rolls back any changes to the database. The report also issues a log.
