Purpose

This transaction activates all required order data areas,order data types and components in orderdocument management (ODM) for value-added services (VAS). Here, only those objects of order document management that also used by VAS are considered.

Activities

Execute this transaction for activating (or converting) ODM settings after the installation, and after every Customizing transport (that includes ODM settings) in the target system.

You can execute this transaction multiple times in a row, since objects that have already been activated are ignored when this execution is repeated.

Note that this transaction can take several minutes to be executed.

If required, you can generate and activate the ODM objects (order data area, order data type, component) in Customizing individually. For more information, see the Implementation Guide for order document management, underActivate Settings in Order Document Management and Generate Settings in Order Document Management.
