Purpose

The Multiple Software Lifecycle Manager (SLM) Configuration Assistant allows you to configure multiple SLMs in the SAP Solution Manager system.

The Maintenance Optimizer can select the appropriate SLM to download the support packages from the SAP Service Marketplace, and deploy them to the managed systems.

Activities

1. Choose button "Create" to create a new SLM;

2. Choose button "Delete" to delete a SLM;

3. Choose one "Logical Port Name" to edit the logical port;

4. Choose one "RFC Destination" to edit the RFC destination;

5. Choose one "SLM Check" to check whether the SLM web services can be accessed in the Solution Manager system;

6. Choose one "SLM Configuration" to start the SLM Configuration Assistant and configure the SLM;

7. Choose one "Central Download Directory" to start the Central Download Directory Assistant. It can display the support packages downloaded by SLM.
