Functionality

This function module is OBSOLETE. It is only provided for backward compatibility. It will be removed in a future release.

You should use /AIN/ID_DECODE instead of this module. Also, /AIN/ID_DECODE is NOT an SAP releasedfunction module and can also change in the next version of the software. To keep backward compatibility,this function module does not return EPC Version. As of SAP AII 4.0, an EPC must be stored along with its EPC Version.
