Functionality

This function module is used in the RFID enabled returnable transport item visibility process for the parameter extractor for the event type.

The function module is only available when you use the object (OBJECT) as a main object table in therelevant application object type. It selects data (for example, location or document) from the informationavailable in SAP Auto-ID Infrastructure (SAP AII). Data that might be relevant to supply chain event management is selected to allow universal use of the function.

The event message "Confirm Return" is sent.

Location and document data is sent with this event message.

Multitask activity 'RTI10_CONFIRM_RETURN' in rule 'RTI10' is used to process this event message:

• The current location and document are updated.

• If the 'Empty' indicator is set to 'X' or the 'Damaged' indicator is set to 'X' , this event message is processed. Otherwise, processing stops.

• Based on the value of the 'Empty' indicator in the user data, the filling status is updated.

• Based on the value of the 'Damaged' indicator in the user data, the physical condition status is updated.

• The shipping status is set to 'Return Confirmed'.

The condition for sending this event message is the same as for "Unloading".
