Functionality

This function module supports reading of requirements elements from the database table /FRE/REQ.

In accordance with the import parameter I_ACCESSTYPE, different access types are supported for reading the table /FRE/REQ (for description, see parameters).

In particular, this module supports a dynamic access type that ensures that all selection fields inthe import interface are taken into account. Among other things, value range tables are used. The contentof the value range tables is not checked, which means that if a value range table without content istransferred, the system takes all of the values in the relevant data element into account when readingthe database. In extreme cases, this procedure may result in the selection of all data records in table /FRE/REQ (there is no restriction in all of the value range tables).

With the exception of dynamic access, the access types described by the parameter I_ACCESSTYPE are index-supported.
