Functionality

This funtion module returns the timestamp for the latest successful delta extraction process plus 1second. The system can use this timestamp to determine which records can be deleted from a database table. Records with a creation timestamp lower than the returned timestamp can be deleted.

• If the function module returns a timestamp = "infinity," it means that the DataSource use to extractrecords to the Business Information Warehouse is not active in the source logical system and all records can be deleted.

• If the function module returns a timestamp = "begin time," it indicates that the DataSource is activein the source logical system but that no successful delta initialization has yet taken place, so no records can be deleted from the corresponding database table
