Functionality

Resolves a DIF Occurrence for external data and its assignment into virtual DIF Occurrence and assignment records. The function is required for FRP outbound and display of external DIF data in the DIF UI.

Features:

• For generic assignments, the location/products for which the external data is to be resolved canbe restricted via import parameter. If not restricted, external data is resolved for all location/products in case of generic assignment.

• Internal DIF Occurrence numbers are generate for the virtual occurrence and assignment records, to keep the relationship between the virtual occurrence and its assignment records unique (necessary since several virtual assignment records are generated fro, <n> being a subsequent number starting with 1.

• You can specify whether delta handling of external data modules is used. In this case, only externaldata records changed since the last FRP outbound for DIF (see FRP design) are returned (currently only supported by time series).
