Functionality

The function module executes rounding for requirements quantities according to assigned rounding profileand requirements quantity optimization profile. The module can be called for a list of location productsand also for multiple quantities (requirements for first demand period, requirements after second demandperiod, ...). The module also performs checks for possible minimum order amounts and maximum limits. If rounding is not requested (either by interface parameter or profile settings), the module will checked whether the maintained unit of measure is allowed for ordering.

The module returns a table with the rounded or calculated values and a table with log information aboutthe rounding process (chosen rounding rule, rounding parameters, and so on). The resulting values are calculated based on a valid unit of measure for the order.
