Functionality

In this function module, the analysis period of the artificial history is calculated and the time periodfor which the artificial history is to be created is determined. To do this, the forecast profiles forthe individual references are read from the table of location products and analyzed using function module/FRE/DB_MATLOC_READ. The forecast profiles themselves are read by function module /FRE/DB_PROFCST_READ.The information as to which forecast profile is assigned to the individual references is returned tothe caller by interface table CT_REF_ITEMS and the forecast profile itself is returned by interfacetable ET_PRFCST. The start of the analysis period, the start of the recalculation period, and the mostrecent equivalent reference module are returned in the interface structure CS_REF_MODULE. If there isno equivalent reference module that can be used, the beginning of the recalculation period is set to the beginning of the analysis period.

If errors occur inside the module, F&R exceptions are generated.
