Functionality

This function module is used for saving changes entered in the F&R Exception Workbench or any otherexception screen. Such changes primarily involve setting the exception status to complete (acknowledge indicator) or setting the resubmission indicator.

The function module ensures that the status update and the resubmission indicator are set -- not onlyfor the exception instance that was transferred directly to the function module, but for all F&R exceptions with the same message semantics (defined by the attributes MSGID, MSGNO, and MSGV 1-4).

Internally, the function module calls up the CHANGE function module /FRE/DB_MSG_CHANGE. If the exception/FRE/CX_DB_MSG_PARAM_INCONS or the exception /FRE/CX_DB_MSG_NO_CHANGE_TO_DO is triggered in this CHANGEfunction module (for example, because an empty table has been transferred), it is sent to the interface of the UPDATE module.

Remark

The function module does not have any export parameters, as it only makes changes to the database.
