Functionality

This function module controls the release checks for automatically created order proposals. The release verification consist of the following parts:

• Profile (object) based release check

• Exception based release check

• Customer specific release check

The module determines the assigned release profiles (seeRelease profile maintenance) and the release-relevant F&R exceptions related to the order proposal data (locations, products).

Order proposals are checked at header and item level. If at least one order proposal item cannot beenreleased automatically, the entire order proposal is marked for manual release. This means that the order proposal will have to be processed manually.
