Functionality

This function reads the database table /FRE/DIF_CONFIG that holds the configuration parameters for the Demand Influencing Factor Workbench and Tree. These parameters are:

• DIF Tree View

• Sorting direction for the four predefine levels of the tree

• Sorting criteria and their direction

• Maximum number of nodes to be displayed in the tree

• Default variant

• Node layout

• Assignment default variant

• Show the Occurrence List

• Show the Exception Monitor

If no configuration exists for a given user, the function returns the default settings for the system.

If no default exists and the table is accessed for the first time, the default settings are created (hard coded).
