/FRE/UI_DIF_CONFIG_WRITE - Write or update DIF workbench configuration

Functionality

This function creates or changes the user configuration parameters of the Demand Influencing Factor Workbench and Tree. These parameters are saved in the database table /FRE/DIF_CONFIG. They are:

• DIF Tree View

• Sorting direction for the four predefine levels of the tree

• Sorting criteria and their direction

• Maximum number of nodes to be displayed in the tree

• Default variant

• Node layout

• Assignment default variant

• Show the Occurrence List

• Show the Exception Monitor

The function checks to make sure that the DIF Tree View is correct. If not, the function generates an error.

If the save fails, the function also generates an error.
