Functionality

This function module returns the lkup and lkuplnk records based on the input criteria. This functionmodule returns list of LKUP records & LKUPLNK records that satisfy the given input criteria. The inputcriteria could be range of products(ir_product), range of locations for location chains (ir_locidchain),range of locations for location assignment(ir_locid_assign) range of INC group name(ir_pname), rangeof group types(ir_pntype), range of FFF classes for restrictricted interchangeability(ir_icnum), range of relevance flags(ir_relvn), range of status flags(ir_istat), multilevel flag(to retrieve all related groups).

This function module expects all the range table will be filled with various records with include sign & #EQ# option. Hence this function module can not handle wild char search on LKUP table.

The function module handles supersession chains, FFF Classes, restricted interchangeablity, ProductSubstitution procedures, Location chains, Product location chains, Location determination procedures and Product Location Determination procedures.

The function module retrieves the lkup records based on all entries in the input criteria. It handlesprocedures (PSP/LDP/LPDP) differently. For eg. if you enter the group number of a PSP in pname rangetable and a product in the product range table, the function module interprets this as a query for allgroups ( supersession chains/FFF Classes) within the PSP having the product. Similarly the function module handles location determination procedures and product location determination procedures.

If the multilevel flag is set, then the function module returns all lkup records that are linked ( havingsame value in mulguid field). But if a procedure is entered in the search criteria then the groups returned will be restricted to the procedure.
