Functionality

This function module is used to start approval of the given profiles. Each profile whose approval is to be started should contain either

• Personal number or

• SAP user name or

• Profile GUID.

If it is SAP user name, then the mapping between SAP user name and HR 105 Infotype should be in place.

For personal number, mapping is not checked; but only personal number existence check is done.

If Profile GUID is not supplied, it is retrieved by the API using SAP user name or personal number.

Only those profiles are submitted which are found in created ('CREA' ) or changed ('CHNG') modes.
