Functionality

This FM is used for uploading a project from PLM PS Project system to the xRPM system. For uploadinga project from the PS system, an approved proposal/project has to be created in xRPM system. The projectupload from the PS system will copy the tasks from the PS system to the xRPM system and also update some of the project fields.

During the upload some of the fields in xRPM project is updated from the PS project. The project fields like Plan Start and Plan Finish, Description etc are changed.

The tasks are either Updated, Inserted or deleted after checking with the tasks in the xRPM system.If a task coming from the PS system does not exist in the xRPM system then this is Inserted. If a taskexist in the xRPM system and if it is not returned from the PS system, then this is deleted in the xRPM system. The decision for Update is taken by comparison of some specific fields between the PS and the xRPM system.

All the objects are updated, inserted, deleted in the buffer and finally saved by the Object manager.
