Functionality

This function module receives data from the groupware - from the CRM MW system in which the connection to the groupware server is maintained - and maps the data in WFM Core objects.

The format /SAPAPO/LRP_GW_QGWFORMAT is similar to the iCal standard RFC2445. It contains the data forthe actual GW object, sections for the participants, and information about periodic rules. All sectionsare structured according to the data part (DATA), control part (CONTROL), and flag bar (FLAG) (whichdata fields are filled. In the control part, the TASK parameter specifies what happens to the data record (create, change, or delete).

The state of the GW object is stored in the /SAPAPO/CL_LRP_GW_GWOP class, the state of the WFM objectis stored in the /SAPAPO/CL_LRP_GW_WFMOP class. There is a 1:1 relationship between them. Both objects reference the SAPAPO/CL_LRP_GW_RESP class, which contains the resources/GW user information.

If an error occurs in processing a WFM object, the internal objects (GWOP und WFMOP) are return to the last error-free state. Processing continues for the remaining GW objects.

If any errors occur, they are listed in the application log.
