Functionality

The pegging areas specified in the IT_PEGAREA table are created/changed/deleted. The operation to be performed depends on the data in the METHOD field in T_PEGAREA:

• If METHOD = GC_NEW:

The pegging area with key PEGAREA is created.

• If METHOD = GC_CHANGE:

The parameters of the pegging area with key PEGAREA are reset.

• If METHOD = GC_DELETE:

If possible, the pegging area with key PEGAREA is deleted. Deletion is only possible if there are no more issues or receipts for this pegging area.

ET_RC contains return codes for pegging areas with processing errors.
