Functionality

This function module handles the data of the simulation version with the GUID IV_SIMSESSION.

Depending on the content of the parameter IV_SIMSESSION_METHOD, the following operations are performed on the simulation version:

• IV_SIMSESSION_METHOD = gc_simsession_delete (constant is defined in the include /sapapo/constants_om): Deletes the data of a simulation version.

• IV_SIMSESSION_METHOD = gc_simsession_merge: Merges the simulation version with the actual data. In this case, the table ET_ORDER_CHANGED contains the GUIDs of the merged orders.

• IV_SIMSESSION_METHOD = gc_simsession_save: Saves the data.

• IV_SIMSESSION_METHOD = gc_simsession_new: Creates a new simulation version.

Return codes (see table ET_RC):

• OM_INVALID_SIMSESSION: GUID of the simulation version has an error.

• The table ET_RC can also contains GUIDs of objects where there were errors when the simulation version was merged with the actual data.
