Functionality

This module determines the external ID (external description and class/class type) for a GUID of aniPPE activity and vice versa. If both a GUID and an external ID are transferred to the module, the system uses the GUID and ignores the other entries.

If the conversion can be performed, the system always makes entries in the export parameters EF_ACT_GUID,EF_ACT_NAME, EF_ACT_CLINT, EF_ACT_CLASS_EXT and EF_ACT_CLASS_TYPE. This is independent from which import parameters contained entries.

The exception IPPE_READ_ERROR is triggered, if an error has occurred during the reading of the iPPE data. For example, this can occur if a GUID or an external identification that does not exist is transferred.

The exception NOT_AN_ACTIVITY is triggered if the transferred GUID or the transferred external identification does exist but is not an activity.

Notes

The module buffers the activities in an external table. The system reads the iPPE directly only during the first conversion of an activity.
