Functionality

This function module is used to set parameters in the SAPGUI frontend. By grouping the method accessesfor setting the parameters, you can minimuze the number of required RFC links to the frontend. The automation queue is filled with the method accesses for all active charts and emptied once by a FLUSH at the end.

The structure is_active contains indicators for all screen objects currentlydisplayed. The structure is_update contains indicators for the ALV chartswhich have to be newly assembled as the rows displayed or the field catalog settings have changed, forexample. The method cl_gui_alv_grid->refresh_table_display is only accessed if this indicatoris set as then the complete field catalog and the complete output table can be retransferred. For smaller changes such as the setting of the scroll position or selecting rows, you do not have to reconstruct the chart.

The setting of scroll information or the selection of columns is carried out for all charts irrespective of whether the update indicator is set or not.
