Functionality

Transferred orders are created on the specified iPPE line as orders with an order activity using mid-point scheduling in the LiveCache according to the PP/DS strategy.

Prerequisites for creating orders using this API are:

• Location

• iPPE Line (contains a line resource)

• Product variant

• iPPE access objects for the product variants which are directly maintained directly on the iPPE line.

Notes

No buffers from iPPE Line Design are considered.

The field VBELN in table IT_ORDERS may not contain any blanks.

Use the API function module /SAPAPO/SEQ_API_ORDER_CREATE_M to create orders for more complex iPPE factory layouts such as line networks, for example.

If no strategy profile has been defined specifically, the system uses the profile of the BAPI application entered as standard in the PP/DS Customizing"Maintain Global Parameters and Default Values".
