Functionality

The distance between two locations or a transportation lane is calculated. The distance is calculatedfrom the geographic distance on the globe. When you enter a means of transport, the distance is multipliedby the distance factor (field DISTFAC) of the means of transport to calculate an estimated distance for this means of transport. The distance is always returned in the unit [km].
