Functionality

The means of transport for the transportation lane is read. The selection criteria can be start location, destination location, means of transport, or the start or end of the validity.

When the read takes place, the bucket transportation resource from the global means of transport entry(TRTYPE entry) is written to the corresponding entries of the means of transport, if the RESUID field is initial/blank.

Also, the retention period (STOPDURAT field) is converted to a net time (using the average working timeAVGVEL of the corresponding means of transport) and added to the transportation duration (field DURAT)so that the applications always receive an entire net transportation duration. The bucket-oriented planningapplications (SNP, ND) then convert this total net duration to a gross transportation duration as required. Scheduling-oriented applications (for example, TP/VS) use the net transportation duration.
