Functionality

Method of retrieving data from the event handlers: this BAPI allows for queries against event handlerheader table fields, EH extension table fields, EH info and control parameters, tracking IDs, queryIDs, expected event information, and event message information. E.g., queries as 'all containers with Material YXZ and status IN TRANSIT ' will be possible.

By means of the input parameters, the calling application can specify whether the function module shoulduse a customized selection function, and give the name of this function module, or the standard one(/SAPTRX/BAPI_EH_GET_DATA). The customized selection function must have the same interface as /SAPTRX/BAPI_EH_GET_DATA.The user can also set the maximum number of event handlers to be retrieved, for performance reasons.

With regard to the #table# parameter, SELECTIONFIELDS (see related documentation) is the only one thatmust be filled by the calling application; all the others are the table retuned by functin module /SAPTRX/BAPI_EH_GET_DATA (see function module and related documentation).

This function module has been developed according to the BAPI programming guidelines, therefore there are also the standard #required- BAPI parameters EXTENSIONIN, EXTENSIONOUT, RETURN.
