Functionality

Use this function to retrieve information on the predecessor document from the event handler or event message that are currently processed, and if the mapping capabilities of the SAP Event Management(SAP EM) and document flow (DF) Customizing are not sufficient.

Fill exporting parameters EV_DOCUMENT and EV_ITEM (or local parameters lv_document and lv_item, if prepared coding from template is used).

Use the standard SAP EM activity interface I_EAI to access event handler or event message data.

Use imported structure IS_DF_SRCTG to get information on the current SAPEM-DF-mapping-entry in order to differenciate between SAP EM levels, source levels, etc.
