Functionality

This function module creates or updates an executed transportation activity (ETA) either with or withouta reference to one or more planned transportation activities (PTAs), depending on whether a relevant PTA exists or not.

It is used in rule activities only.

Parameter-1: Enter the method for how you want to create or update the ETA. The following methods are available:

X: Create or Update ETA with Reference to PTA(s)

' ': Create or Update ETA Without Reference to PTA(s)

Parameter-2: Enter the object type. The following object types are available:

01: House Shipment

02: Tour

03: Resource

Parameter-3: Enter the object or metadata tag to retrieve the value. You can enter the following objects:

House Shipment Number

Tour ID

Resource ID

Parameter-4: Enter the execution status. The following statuses are available:

02: In Execution

03: Executed

05: Cancelled

Parameter-5 (Optional): Enter the transportation activity category. The following categories are available:

01: Loading

02: Transportation

03: Unloading

10: Customs

Parameter-6 (Optional): Enter the external location ID or a metadata tag to retrieve the value.

Return code:

0: The ETA was created or updated successfully.

1: The application system or RFC destination has not been maintained. Check the relevant Customizingfor SAP Event Mangement under Event Management -> GeneralSettings in SAP Event Management-> Define Application System.
