/SAPTRX/TMS_UPD_DO_TENDERING - Update the Dependent Object (DO) Tendering

Functionality

This function module is used to update the dependent object (DO) Tendering if the transportation serviceprovider does not respond to the request for quote on time. It determines the corresponding shipmentorder or freight order, the corresponding DO Tendering instance, and the corresponding instance of the node STEPTSP, and it evaluates whether the tendering process is overdue.

It is used in expected event monitor activities only.

Parameter-1: Enter a metadata tag to retrieve the document type or enter one of the following document type:

• T20,,Request for supplier shipment quote

• T8 ,,Request for supplier freight quote

Parameter-2: Enter a metadatatag to retrieve the request for supplier shipment quote number or the request for supplier freight quote number.

Return code:

• 0: The DO Tendering was updated successfully.

• 1: The application system or RFC destination has not been maintained. Check the relevant Customizingfor SAP Event Mangement under Event Management -> General Settings in SAP Event Management ->Define Application System.

• 2: The function module used to set the house shipment status is not available at the destination you have specified.
