| This parameter determines the timeout value for the NiRead and       |
| NiWrite calls in milliseconds. If not all of the data is sent or     |
| received within this time period, the relevant action is interrupted |
| and continued later.  Thus slow connections cannot block             |
| the gateway.                                                         |
