Functionality

This activity creates or updates event handler transactions and sends event messages to SAP Event Management(SAP EM). If you want to post (create/update) an event handler transaction or send an event message, call this activity in your rule.

Parameter Name: ACTION (required)

Parameter Value: Specify the action to execute in your rule.

Notes

To post event handler transactions or send event messages, you must configure Customizing for the Event Management Interface. You must make the appropriate settings for the following Customizing transactions:

• Define SAP EM

• Define Used Bus. Proc. Types, Appl. Obj. Types, and Evt Types

• Define SAP EM Interface Functions

• Define SAP EM Relevance Conditions
