Functionality

This activity sends the updated document as feedback to the supply chain execution backend system afterthe document status becomes 'Complete'. This is usually the case after all Objects within the document are processed by AII.

Then a message is sent to the backend system via SAP Exchange Infrastructure (SAP XI).

Activity Parameters:

• PACK_MATERIAL_CASE: Dummy product for case handling unit

• PACK_MATERIAL_PALLET: Dummy product for pallet handling unit

• ACTION_STATUS_FILTER: Ignore all Actions with Action Status equal to the one provided as Parameter value. Possible values are READ, WRITE and CLOSED.

Relationships

The document status has to be set to 'Complete' in order to trigger the feedback to the backend system.This is usually done by the Activity DEVICE_UPDATE_DOCUMENT. Thus the Activity DEVICE_SEND_FEEDBACK has to be placed after DEVICE_UPDATE_DOCUMENT within the Rule.

This Activity should be placed within the Rule after the Observed Actions are updated, thus after the DEVICE_REGISTER_40 Activity.

Example

If ACTION_STATUS_FILTER is set to WRITE, no feedback is sent for Actions with this status. This can be useful within rules where Actions of status READ and WRITE are processed.
