/AIN/CL_DEV_VALIDATE_40 - Valdiate Activity 4.0
BAL Application Log Documentation Fill RESBD Structure from EBP Component StructureThis documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
Functionality
This activity processes messages from both mobile and fixed devices and also prepares the activity context for subsequent activities. For each SAP Auto-ID Infrastructure (SAP AII) object, this activity:
- Fills (pack, load, do, undo, and all of these combinations):
- Document information (Document ID, Document Type)
- Device information (Device ID, Device Group ID)
- Packing hierarchy information (Container, Top Object)
- The system determines the packing hierarchy from the object table. If an object does not have a containerobject assigned in the table, the system determines it from the device message (see also activity parameter HIERARCHY_BY_EPC_FILTER).
- System information (execution time, user name)
- Internal object ID
- Checks:
- Object ID is in the right format
- Object ID is in the same hierarchy
- Object ID is in the object table
- Object ID is recorded
- Tag has been decommissioned before
The activity has the following parameters:
- CHECK_AGAINST_DOCUMENT: Check if object is expected in given document. Possible parameter values are:
- ERROR: Rule stops
- WARNING
- INFORMATION
- CHECK_IN_STOCK: Check if object is in stock. Possible parameter values are:
- ERROR: Rule stops
- WARNING
- INFORMATION
- CHECK_OBJECT_KNOWN: Check if system recognizes the object. Possible parameter values are:
- ERROR: Rule stops
- WARNING
- INFORMATION
- CHECK_DECOMMISSION: Check if tags have ever been decommissioned. Possible parameter values are:
- ERROR: Rule stops
- WARNING
- INFORMATION
- CHECK_HIERARCHY_CHANGE : Stop rule if container object of object table is different from new container object
- HIERARCHY_BY_EPC_FILTER: Get hierarchy by pack level. You can customize the pack level in the IMGunder Auto-ID Infrastructure → Basic Settings, → Pack Settings → Assign packing levels to filter values.
- GROUP_BY_MESSAGE: Group all objects of a message under a new dummy container. This can be useful if the pallet ID is not known at the time of packing.
- HIERARCHY_BY_DEVGRP: Create a new dummy container and put all objects under it for certain device group.
- LOCK_RETRY_WAIT: Seconds between locking retrials
- UNDO: Undo the business action
Relationships
Because it provides data (activity context) for subsequent activities, Validate is normally the first activity in a rule.
Example
Notes
Only one validate activity is allowed per rule.
