Functionality

Action for refactoring duplicate elements of a Business Object into a single element.

There are three different use-cases supported by this action:

• An entity exists in a projection as well as in the template used by the projection. In this case the element of the projection is removed and all of its usages are changed to the template entity.

• Two elements of the same Business Object that are semanticall identical exist. One of these elements is removed and its usages are changed to the other entity.

• Two elements of the same entity exist that have different names but exactly the same contents. In this case one of the elements is removed and all of its usages are changed to the other one.

The first use-case can be accessed directly, the other two are part of the check&correct functionality,

Example

• A determination D exists in bothe the template and the projection. It will be removed from the projection and pulled up to the template.

• Two associations "To_Parent" exist for a node. One of them will be removed.

• Two associations with the same source and target node of the same category exist. One of them will be removed.
