Functionality

This association class can be used to resolve one to many associations that are going over two nodes.That means if three nodes are involved, which are connected with compositions like a chain. This association class can be used to answer an association from the first to the third node.

Relationships

Example

The standard example is a one-to-many DO-connection.

If the Proxy-Model has a composition to a Dependent Object with cardinality one-to-many, the BOBF willgenerate an internal node in between so that you have an internal composition (1-to-many) and a 1-to-1connection to the Dependent Object. Therefore the Proxy-Composition is internally seen as normal associationjust going over this new internal node. This association class can be used as implementation for this association.
