Functionality

This association class resolves associations where both source and target key have the same values.

Notes

Source node and target node of an association can only have the same key if they are related to eachother. The most common example for this is the case when there is a 1:1 relationship between parentand child node (and the checkbox "same key as parent key" is checked on the child node), which is NOT a use case for this association implementation as this relationship is covered by the framework associations.

A valid example for this association implementation is: parent node A has a 1:1 relationship to childnode B and a 1:1 relationship to child node C. Then the association from B to C (and vice versa) uses this association implementation.
