/ISDFPS/CL_RM_STATUS_FOLLOW_UP - Role Manager: Follow-Up Activity for Status Switch
General Data in Customer Master BAL Application Log DocumentationThis documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
Functionality
After the system switch of a force element, the system automatically updates the relevant authorizations for all users determined by the role generator for this force element.
The system triggers a workflow to update authorizations for users automatically according to their organizational assignments.
- The follow-up action determines the following data for the activated force element (structure):
- All assigned users
- All start times of active assignments between force elements, positions, persons or users, and the corresponding end times (all active assignment periods).
- The follow-up action starts an instance of the workflow RM100UPD for each assignment period.
- The follow-up action triggers an initial authorization update through the role generator for the determined users according to the current organizational assignments.
- Each workflow instance uses the role generator to trigger an authorization update at the respective start time for all determined users according to their current organizational assignments.
If an end time before 12/31/9999 exists, the system keeps this workflow instance active until this end date.
When the end time is reached, the workflow instance triggers the authorization update for all specifiedusers again. This means that users lose those authorizations that are no longer available once an organizational assignment has ended.
If such an end time does not exist, the system ends this workflow instance.
